As freedom fighter and anti-apartheid leader, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda persistently supported the liberation struggle in various countries in the sub-region.
A gifted musician, sportsman, humanitarian and author, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda still lives up to his legacy and continues to have a positive impact on the people of Zambia, Africa and beyond. Kaunda was married to the love of his life Beatrice Banda who passed away in 2012 and they were blessed with eight children.
As well as the privilege of being the first President of Zambia, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda is a recipient of numerous national and international awards and honours.
