Janet Jackson announces ‘State of the World’ tour

LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES (REUTERS) – Janet Jackson announced on Monday (May 1) that she is going on a tour of North America.

The 50 year-old, who became a mother for the first time in January 2017 with her husband Wissam Al Mana, will head out on a four-month North American tour later this year.

The ‘State of The World’ tour is due to be a 56 city run which begins on September 7th in Lafayette, Louisiana.

She will then also tour the likes of Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Memphis, Vancouver and Toronto.

The final stop off for the Grammy award winner is due to be the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

The ‘State of The World’ tour is a continuation of her 2015 ‘Unbreakable’ tour which was came to an end when she announced she was going to focus on her family.
