(EVO) – It’s been 23 years but finally Lionel Richie has returned to the top of the UK album charts.
Following a headline set at the Glastonbury Festival last week the 66 year-old singer is back at number one with ‘The Definitive Collection’.
It means the American pushes last week’s chart-topper Florence + The Machine down to number two.
Her album ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’ was also helped by a Glastonbury headline set.
And another star of the Pyramid Stage closes out the top three.
British singer James Bay seeing his album ‘Chaos and the Calm’ up just behind Florence.
But it’s the iconic Richie who’s probably got the best feeling right now sitting at number one in the charts.
