Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj team up at MTV VMAs

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards were packed with performances, including a duet between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES (AUGUST 30, 2015) (MTV) – Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj opened the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards with a duet of Minaj’s “The Night is Still Young” and Swift’s “Bad Blood” on Sunday (August 30).

The two shared the stage after a twitter argument in late July when Swift took offense to a post Minaj made regarding what she felt was a VMA nomination snub for video of the year.

Singer Justin Bieber returned to the VMA stage after a two-year break to perform two new tracks, tearing up at the end of his performance.

Rapper Macklemore performed his new single “Downtown” in the streets of downtown Los Angeles while Canadian singer The Weeknd performed his hit single “Can’t Feel my Face”

Twenty One PIlots and A$AP Rocky got the audience on their feet as they performed a mashup of their songs, including “HeavyDirtySoul” and “LSD”

Host Miley Cyrus closed the show with a surprise performance of her new single, “Do It” and announced that her new album is available online at no cost.
