Naomi Campbell calls on her celebrity friends to help fight Ebola

Supermodel Naomi Campbell host her Fashion for Relief charity runway show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York.

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES (FEBRUARY 14, 2015) (REUTERS) – Supermodel Naomi Campbell gathered up her famous friends to help raise money towards the fight against Ebola on Saturday (February 14).

An array of unknown fashion models and superstars hit the runway at Campbell’s ‘Fashion for Relief’ charity show held at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York.

Actor Jeffrey Wright welcomed the crowd to the show and reminded everyone that the fight isn’t over.

“This is an amazing turn out and we can really do some really good things in the long term with all of your support. So I really want to thank you first for being here.”

Campbell appeared towards the middle of the show with the audience erupting in applause for the veteran catwalker. The cheers continued as television personality Paris Hilton strutted down the runway.

Also lending their time were actors Michelle Rodriquez and Rosario Dawson, along with singers Mary J. Blige, Cassie.

The 44-year-old’s fashion friends also were on hand, including model Tyson Beckford and stylists June Ambrose and Brad Goreski.

Campbell will kick off London Fashion Week with another charity show on February 19.

‘Fashion for Relief’ was set up in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina to raise money for charity from the fashion community.
