Cows stranded by New Zealand earthquake live to see an udder day.
(newshub) – Three cows left stranded after a powerful earthquake in New Zealand have been rescued.
Video from Monday showed the cows standing on a small patch of grass after the land around them collapsed from landslides triggered by the 7.8 magnitude quake.
Local media say the farmer who owned the two beef cows and calf later dug a path from the top of the green patch down to the ground and brought the cows to safety.
The farmer said his property sat right on top of the fault line that shifted during the quake.
