MEERUT, UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA (OCTOBER 06, 2015) (ANI)- A five-year old boy from Meerut city of India’s northern Uttar Pradesh state has an extraordinary memory which earned him the title of ‘Google’ from a local school.
Anmol Swami could barely speak till he was three-year old but he earned the title of ‘Google Boy’ in February last year by a city-based school.
He, along with his two elder sisters, was given admission in a school known as ‘The Adhyyan’ where they were promised free education, stationary, uniform and conveyance till they competed their schooling.
Anmol knows it all, right from the list of India’s presidents and prime ministers since the country’s independence in 1947 to names of all the states and union territories in the country. He can name the continents in the world and capital of all countries within fraction of seconds.
When the teacher asked him a list of few questions, Anmol replied them all.
When the teacher asked him “Hyderabad is the capital of which state”, the boy replied, “Telangana”. He could also name the seven continents perfectly. The name of the nine planets of the solar system was at his fingertip.
His parents realised his talent when he answered all the general knowledge questions his mother had taught his elder sister a day before.
“He was three and a half years old when I realised that his mind is different from other children. So, I started training him and encouraged him to learn. He kept on learning and today the conditions are that if he watches something on television, or if we tell something in general, it gets stored in his brain immediately. Not just questions, he is learning and becoming an expert in whatever he watches -like Judo, Karate, Yoga et cetera,” said Anmol’s mother, Rachna Swami, on Tuesday (October 06).
Anmol has become a known name in every household of Meerut and other neighbouring districts for his prodigious memory.
Observing his extraordinary skills, state president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Laxmikant Bajpai, wrote a letter to Uttar Pradesh state chief, Akhilesh Yadav, to offer the boy some incentives so that he can pursue his dream in life.
Earlier a child, Kautilya Pandit, who hailed from Karnal city of northern Haryana state, was officially awarded with the title of ‘Google Boy’.
He was later awarded one million rupees by the state government of Haryana.
