Argentine captain says beating Ireland to reach RWC semi-final is incredible

Argentina captain Agustin Creevy says it’s incredible that they have beaten Ireland to reach the Rugby World Cup semi-finals.

CARDIFF, WALES, UK (OCTOBER 18, 2015)(RUGBY WORLD CUP LIMITED) – Argentina continued the southern hemisphere domination of the Rugby World Cup with a 43-20 demolition of Ireland in Cardiff on Sunday (October 18) and afterwards hooker and captain Agustin Creevy said it was difficult to believe they really had won.

“It feels incredible. It feels incredible. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s something we’ve been aiming at for a long time and I swear I still don’t believe it. So anything I say. I just don’t know what to say. I still don’t believe it. We’ve reached the semi-finals. It’s a dream for many and we have been working for this for a long time. As the trainer said, it’s not just the players, we are a group of staff; a group of trainers that study a lot every week and they do their job really well just like the medical staff. I don’t know. The guys who win outside. I don’t want to leave anyone out because they have all been part of this journey and this belongs to everyone. Everything that’s happening to us, all this belongs to Argentine rugby. The growth we had was notorious so I just can’t express with words how happy I am. And I suppose also the coach,” said Creevy.
