Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) names Pharrell Williams 2015 “fashion icon”

After Rihanna, Johnny Depp, Lady Gaga, Iman, Kate Moss and Nicole Kidman, the CFDA has this year chosen Pharrell Williams as its “fashion icon”. The Fashion Awards, which are equivalent to the Oscars of American fashion, will honor the famous singer, rapper, songwriter, producer and fashion designer on June 1 with its Fashion Icon Award, recognizing individuals “whose style has made a significant impact on popular culture on an international stage.”
