German designer Philipp Plein sends sexy urban warriors on a roller coaster ride at his Milan Fashion Week A/W2015-16 show.
MILAN, ITALY (FEBRUARY 25, 2015) (PHILIPP PLEIN) – Philipp Plein presented an urban chic Autumn/Winter 2015-16 collection at the Milan Fashion Week on Wednesday (February 25).
The bigger the better seemed to be the motto for the show which opened with a performance by American rapper Azealia Banks and featured a lit-up roller coaster in the middle of the split catwalk.
Showing in the last slot of the first day of the Milan Fashion Week, the German designer sent models on the runway in leather and snakeskin outfits that borrowed from sports and street wear.
Fur featured heavily in the show and was used in coats, jackets and tops and as stoles.
Plein went for a monochrome look for his autumn-winter collection with dark pink among the few colours seen on the catwalk.
The sports-inspired outfits carried the number 78, Plein’s birth year, as well as the word “Warrior”.
To complete the bad girl look, models wore tight leather and latex leggings, crop tops and multi buckle ankle boots.
The energetic designer took to the runway at the end of the show wearing a leather biker jacket and rallying his audience while the models skipped along behind him.
