NEW YORK, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES (WHITEHOUSE.GOV) – President Donald Trump said his chief strategist Steve Bannon was “not a racist” and added “we’ll see what happens with Mr. Bannon,” after he was asked if he had confidence in him.
“We’ll see what happens with Mr. Bannon, but he’s a good person and I think the press treats him frankly very unfairly,” Trump said at a news conference at Trump Tower in New York City.
