(CBS / RESTRICTED POOL / SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITES) – U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is back to work after the Thanksgiving holiday, continuing to fill key positions in his Cabinet.
But he’ll also be keeping a close eye on election recount efforts.
Wisconsin state election officials will soon be meeting to discuss a possible timeline for a recount there where Trump won by 27-thousand votes.
Hillary Clinton’s legal team has agreed to participate in the recount which was requested by Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
The decision prompting Trump to unleash another Twitter tirade, blasting recount efforts as a scam, claiming he won the popular vote quote “if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.”
Stein is also pushing for recounts in Michigan and Pennsylvania, an effort she says is aimed at guaranteeing the integrity of the U.S. voting system.
