Trump’s Friday morning Tweetstorm

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Friday reprised his election campaign attacks on Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, declaring her “guilty as hell”. Havovi Cooper reports.

(CBS, Reuters, Twitter/internet) – Donald Trump’s Twitter feed was busy before breakfast today with the President-elect taking aim at the intelligence community, the media and Hillary Clinton.

Among the 7 tweets between 5:49 and 6:33 am eastern was this scolding “Totally made up facts by sleazebag political operatives, both Democrats and Republicans – FAKE NEWS! Russia says nothing exists. Probably released by “Intelligence” even knowing there is no proof, and never will be. My people will have a full report on hacking within 90 days!”

The shots at Hillary Clinton harkened back to a familiar point of view from Trump “What are Hillary Clinton’s people complaining about with respect to the F.B.I. Based on the information they had she should never have been allowed to run – guilty as hell. They were VERY nice to her. She lost because she campaigned in the wrong states – no enthusiasm!

Trump referring to a Justice Department probe launched Thursday into the FBI and it’s handling of Clinton’s private email server.

Also on Trump’s mind — Obamacare–or as he called it on Twitter Friday morning the “Unaffordable Care Act”– which once he takes office- he hopes to repeal soon.

Before the attacks, Trump did start Friday morning on a positive note on Twittter saying “All of my Cabinet nominee are looking good and doing a great job. I want them to be themselves and express their own thoughts, not mine!”

That comment coming after several of his nominees including his pick for the Pentagon James Mattis and his CIA pick Mike Pompeo- aired their disagreements with Trump on key campaign issues at their confirmation hearings this week.
