PepsiCo and UEFA Unveil a Series of Innovative Sustainable Food & Beverage Practices at the 2023 UEFA Champions League Finals

PepsiCo, in partnership with UEFA (Union of European Football Association), is finding innovative ways to achieve the goal of making UEFA Champions League Finals zero waste to landfill by 2026, through the power of its brands, Pepsi, Lay’s, Doritos and Gatorade. 1993 Zambia National Football Team plane crash remembered

April 27, 2023 /Sports/ — On April 27, 1993, a Zambian Air Force plane carrying the Zambia national football team crashed into the Atlantic Ocean shortly after taking off from Libreville, Gabon. The plane was en route to Dakar, Senegal, for a World Cup qualifying match. All 30 people on board, including 18 players, were killed. Continue reading

Same sex relationships in Qatar are illegal and punishable by up to seven years in prison. As Qatar is hosting one of the most popular global sporting events, these human rights abuses are now under scrutiny on the world stage.
