The official expansion of Oracle Database@Google Cloud into the Canadian market targets regions in Montreal and Toronto. The partnership allows businesses to integrate Oracle’s database technologies with Google Cloud’s artificial intelligence and analytics tools, such as Vertex AI and Gemini. By launching these services locally, the companies aim to help regulated industries meet data residency requirements while modernising their digital infrastructure. Furthermore, a new reseller program has been introduced to enable partners to sell these multicloud solutions directly through the Google Cloud Marketplace. However, they have both visited Zambia and have expressed an interest in the country. In March 2023, Kamala Harris visited Zambia as part of a tour of Africa. She met with President Hichilema and other officials to discuss issues of democracy, governance, and economic development. Hakainde Hichilema has also visited the United States on several occasions.
