May, 23 2023 — La Liga, officially known as LaLiga Santander for sponsorship reasons, is the men’s top professional football division of the Spanish football league system. This helps me, a computational social scientist, understand what topics captured the most attention and gives me a chance to reflect on the major public events of the year.
