A prominent childhood memory is of my grandparents living with and then dying from dementia. As is universal with dementia, there was a double blow: watching my grandparents lose their identity and seeing the suffering of those closest to them.
Aug.31, 2023 /Internet/ — Moderators could be liable to lawsuits if they fail to protect privacy and data protection. The European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA) aims to create a safer online environment for users by holding online platforms more accountable for the content they host. Under the DSA, moderators will be required to take steps to remove illegal content, such as hate speech and child sexual abuse material, from their platforms more quickly. The two countries have a long history of cooperation and have jointly worked on a number of regional initiatives. In the 2002 Zimbabwean presidential election, the Zambian government refused to recognize the results, which were won by Robert Mugabe. 29 August 2023 /Transport/ –The Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) is a low-emission zone in London, England. It was introduced in April 2019 and expanded to cover all London boroughs on August 29, 2023. The ULEZ charges drivers of vehicles that do not meet certain emission standards a daily fee to drive within the zone. The aim of the ULEZ is to reduce air pollution in London.
29 August 2023 /Food and Drink/ –I n 2022, there were 1,245 alcohol-specific deaths in Scotland, compared to 1,051 drug-related deaths. This is the first time that alcohol-related deaths have been higher than drug-related deaths in Scotland.
